Photo-competition of European Theatre Night 2011 / Month of Photography

Within the project Month of Photography, THE PHOTO COMPETITION at the international level will be held. For the second time, the theme of the competition is the manifestation Theatre Night, held on November 19. You may photograph faces, atmosphere or photo graphics. The photographs must be linked to the manifestation Theatre Night or they must somehow incorporate the visual of the Theatre Night. Be creative, witty, innovative and free in expressing this rather narrow theme.

The competition may include photographers from all over Croatia and the countries participating in the manifestation, amateurs and professionals. Each participant may send up to three photographs, not larger than 800x600px, 72dpi, which must be in jpg format. You may photograph by cell phone, camera or web camera. The competition will be open from Wednesday November, 9 and lasts until Sunday, November  20, ending at 12:00h. The deadline for sending photographs is Monday, December 21 until 12:00h, when the professional jury will choose the best photographs. All photographs received after the expiry of this deadline and the photographs with watermark or signature will not be accepted.

Mandatorily to write in the subject: For the Photo Competition Theatre Night / name and surname of the author, and the name of the photograph must contain the name and surname of the competitor and the ordinal number, if there is more than one photograph.

Who the winner is, according to the decision of the five-member professional jury, will be known already on Monday, November  21 until 20:00h and will be published on this webpage: http://www.ns-dubrava.hr/fotonatjecanje-noc-kazalista-2011-mjesec-fotografije/

The winner will win the monetary prize amounting to 1000 Kuna, while a pair of the best ones will get nice comfort rewards.

Note: We emphasize that the theatre plays, in general, may not be photographed unless you obtain the permission of the theatre institution in question.
