Odprti poziv za prijavo na "Prvi rezidenčni program 2012"

Prijatelji Gledališča Glej,

objavljamo Odprti poziv za prijavo na "Prvi rezidenčni program 2012", pri katerem sodeluje tudi Gledališče Glej, in sicer skupaj s Slovenskim mladinskim gledališčem. East European Performing Arts Platform is announcing an Open Call to apply for the First Residence Programme - 2012.

EEPAP board together with EEPAP Members and partner Festivals offers two weeks residencies during the autumn / winter, 2012 to performing arts curators, critics, producers, playwrights and dramaturges.

The residencies will take place during 2012 editions of:

1. BITEF International Theatre Festival, Belgrade, Serbia, more info: www.bitef.rs

Residence BITEF 1 – September 10 to 23, 2012.
Residence code: BITEF-1
Profile: performing arts curator, critic.
Responsibilities: active role in festival organizing activities and dramaturgic coverage of the 2012 festival edition.

Residence BITEF 2 – October 22 to November 8, 2012.
Residence Code: BITEF – 2
Profile: theatre producer.
Responsibilities: : Resident is supposed to take part in production of the BITEF and Hartefact Fund performance Izopaceni directed by Andrej Nosov. (link: www.hartefact.org)

2. MESS International Theatre Festival, Sarajevo, Bosnia and Hercegovina, more info: www.mess.ba

Residence MESS 1 – September 24 to October 7, 2012.
Residence Code: MESS – 1
Profile: festival producer, theatre producer, performing arts curator.
Responsibilities: organizing activities, dramaturgical coverage of the 2012 festival edition.

Residence MESS 2 – October 2 to October 10, 2012
Residence Code: MESS – 2
Profile: playwright, dramaturge
Duties: part in Mark Ravenhill's Workshop in Play-Writing.

3. DIVADELNÁ NITRA International Theatre Festival, Nitra, Slovak Republic, more info: www.nitrafest.sk

Residence NITRA 1/2 – September 13 to September 27, 2012
Residence Code: NITRA 1/2
Profile: project manager, production manager in the field of performing arts
Responsibilities: international relations and project management – organization of the main festival programme and Parallel Lives international coproduction of the festival.

4. Mladinsko Theatre and Glej Theatre, Ljubljana, Slovenia, more info: www.mladinsko.com www.glej.si

Residence SLOV 1 – November 1 to November 16, 2012
Residence Code: SLOV -1
Profile: theatre producer, project manager, international relations
Responsibilities : part in theatre production of both Mladinsko and Glej theatres, cooperation with different theatre departments, work on international relation and promotion of the theatres.

5. Krakow Theatre Reminiscences Festival, Krakow, Poland, more info: www.krt-festival.pl

Residence KTR 1, September 28, 2012 – October 11, 2012
Residence Code: KTR-1
Profile: theatre and art critics, photographers/art-photographers
Responsibilities: the applicant shall be responsible for preparing of the writing relations and/or critical texts in Russian about the festival program or/and    preparing of the artistic  photo-material from the festival. The text and photo-   material shall be used for spreading the information about the festival.

6. Festival "Theatre Confrontations", Lublin, Poland, more info: www.konfrontacje.pl

Residence: TC-1, October 6th – 21st, 2012
Residency code: TC – 1
Profile : festival producer
Responsibilities: participation in the preparation and implementation of the        festival with special attention to the international guests. The residency will take place during the EEPAP meeting.

Conditions:

Each residence will start a week before this year edition of the host festival and continue during the whole festival events. Curator, critic, manager or producer is supposed to participate in the final festival preparations and take an active role during the festival or be involved in the festival coproduction.

Residence MESS - 2 is supposed to last for one week and take place during the Mark Ravenhill's workshop.

Successful applicants will be provided with free accommodation, flight ticket and stipend to cover living expenses. The stipend depends of the living expenses in each of the mention countries.

Eligibility:

Residents of Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan (EU Eastern Partnership Programme) working in the field of performing arts.

Eligible Profiles: Curators, programme managers and producers from the performing arts festivals as well as, independent performing arts institutions and project in Eastern Partnership Countries.

Critics, playwrights and dramaturges dealing with contemporary theatre and dance are encourage to apply as well.

Proficiency in English and one more language that native is presupposed.

There is no age limit.

Please prepare an individual submission, including:

- Short, clear motivation letter

- Short summary of previous work experience (up to 2 pages)

- CV (max one page)

- Filled application form

The submissions will not be returned.

Application deadline for Autumn / Winter 2012 residences: July  31st,  2012

Successful applicants will be contacted in August, 2012

Selection Procedure:

The selection will be made by a committee. The committee is formed by the members of the EEPAP Network and the collaborator organization.
