About the workshop
This three-part workshop will give you the opportunity to learn about the basic principles of how light and sound work on the theatre stage. From this foundation, you will be able to build a conceptual apparatus that will enable you to think deeply about the contextualisation of sound and light within theatre performances, thus developing the complexity and thoughtfulness of future artistic works. Participants will learn both the theoretical and practical aspects of light and sound design, become familiar with theatre equipment and put the theoretical knowledge into practice under the guidance of expert tutors.
